Description
Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the incumbent is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system
The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist the Quality Manager in the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System
- Report to the Quality Manager on the functioning and effectiveness of the quality management system
- Co-ordinate awareness of the needs and requirements of the departments
- Perform other duties relating to the day-to-day technical activities of the laboratory
- Provides support to Senior Management enabling effective operations of the laboratory
- Act as Quality Manager in his/her absence.
- Any other related duties assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Training in Quality Control
- At least one (1) year professional experience in developing and/or administering a Quality Control programme in a healthcare facility
