Under the supervision of the Head of the Inventory Supervisor, the inventory clerk is responsible for entering, verifying, correcting and retrieving information from the inventory management system. The individual is expected to handle requests for inventory items, perform clerical duties with use of initiative and independent judgment to ensure the fulfilment of the department’s objectives.
As an Inventory Clerk, your primary roles include:
- Maintain the Inventory management system ensuring the timely input and retrieval of data.
- Check information on screen against original documents issued.
- Identify and seek assistance with the correction of any errors.
- Perform clerical duties.
- Maintain filing system.
- Perform scanning of inventory requisitions.
- Perform all other related duties assigned.
The ideal candidate must have:
- At least four (4) CXC / GCE O’level passes, including English Language and Mathematics
- At least one (1) year experience in a data entry capacity
